Nickel plated, French bell.
Current owner says "A crack in the bell was apparently repaired at the Heckel factory, post WWII, and probably at the same time; the logo was sanded off, so there is no Heckel logo at all, but the bell is stamped <i>Made in West Germany</i> just above the tenor joint."
