Played from 1948 to 1978 in the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. Apparently a previous owner had made some changes of his own, including drilling a few holes in the Bassooon! He installed his own crook lock, high D key, balance hanger and water vent on the boot U-bend. The bassoon has now been restored to as original as possible.
